Mushroom hunting - aka foraging - is all the rage these days, but you've got to be careful and know what you're looking for! PeiPei Sung never considered herself an outdoors person - but that changed when she was invited to forage for matsutake mushrooms, a prized delicacy gathered by Japanese Americans in the Pacific Northwest. Now, as a board of trustees member of the Puget Sound Mycological Society, Pei Pei shares her love of mushrooms and foraging with others. On the new episode of Out & Back, she guides Alison deep into the forest near North Bend to hunt for prized mushrooms.
